Text rather than a call. So very obviously a scam as they claimed to be Royal Mail & there were so many errors in the message! With a random link to click.

SCAM do not click the link. I phoned the number which seemed to actually go through to Vodafone themselves so I would assume the actual link to click is the dangerous bit.

Have had texts from this number claiming to be Tesco bank fraud. I don't have a tesco bank account and their number is not on the "contact us" help page of the Tesco website.

PPI scamsters

Had a call from this number today 28/11, Regarding a Barclays business a/c, claiming to have sent me a letter - he had not. Some little black urchin from Bongo Bongo land requesting bank details!! Do have a business a/c active, but couldnt tell me a/c nos or where a/c held. Told the little grub to get a job and pack in attempted theft. It defies belief with the telephone technology available vulnerable people cannot be protected from the tactics of human dross.

It's a scam call from those claiming you've been in an accident. If you go along with it for a laugh they start asking for all your details including your name. Funnily enough if you ask them "what's my name?" They hang up on you.

Caller informed me they were from the UK Financial services and I was entitled to money from a loan I took out in 2006? When pressed on what bank they told me Lloyds and I've never had a loan or bank acc with them so they hung up!!! Could be a scam or just PPI.

Number called twice, purporting to be from Caernarfon. Hangs up on answering. In my experience this is an auto-dial check to make sure that a real person answers the number. I will no doubt be getting calls from the Indian subcontinent, with the caller using redirect software to make the call appear to be coming from the UK. This company is not licenced or regulated to trade in the UK. tHE fca has put out a warning on them. Look up"stern options/FCA" The warning is there to see.They will rob you of your pension and savings.
