Called this morning & put down as soon as I answered?
Missed Call - Called Back - And the same PPI S**t. The lady started off asking personal details, which I didn t reveal and asked what it is about. She doesnt want to listen when I said I am not interested and she can take off my name from her database. Am now receiving atleast 1-2 calls a day and 3-4 sms messages from various people/companies and I think it has crossed the limits to be tagged as harassment. Am not sure what OFCOM is doing about it.
Similar mobile number to mine nut doesn t leave a message and not known to me! Beware

Potential fraud. Automated voice making reference to 600 pound transaction on VISA card and offering menu options - no bank identification. Call was received on a number that has never been made public and has not been provided as a means of contact to any financial institution.

Insurance SPAM This number and very similar numbers have been calling me daily for a couple of weeks. I have missed the previous calls but answered today. A very well spoken man said he was calling from some company (I didn't catch the name) to do with my Scottish Widows life insurance. When I told him I don't have a policy he asked if I'd cancelled it and I told him I had and that I don't need life insurance. He immediately told me to have a good day and hung up. They just called again 5 times in a row. They need to get a life.
Called at 01:00 (lucky my phones run silent after 21:00) no message left.
Thankfully I had misread the number and wondered if it was another scam call so I waited for the other to speak first. There was no response and the call was ended. After checking online (on other sites), I have now blocked this number.
Call was silent for 10 seconds before hangup.

As we have registered our business line with Corporate TPS months ago, this is one of multiple illegal calls we receive promising to get us PPI refunds within 12 weeks. This call, like all the others which also offer Private Pensions 3K windfalls, is an automated message and cuts off within 10 seconds, telling you to press 5 to start your claim or 9 to unsubscribe. Can someone tell me what happens when you press 9?
