Recording said from Amazon and reported suspicious activity on my account. Said they had put purchase on hold. In fact this is a genuine number from a Joinery business in Thanet. Blocked.
Was called up by a scam callcenter that told me that there was a problem with a payout from my life insurance, They had my name and phone number, but everything else was very clearly not legit so not the most professional scam I've seen.

Recieved phone call from 01483577441 at 1045am on Saturday 28th January 2023, Preporting to be from Amazon, stating they were witholding a payment of £700.00 As they suspect it. Asking me to press 1, which of course I didn't. This was a recorded message. I have never bourght anything of that value. This is a scam. beware.

Fraud SCAM Got a call from this number, 21/02/2024 at 16:41. Scam caller claiming to be carphone warehouse, which I have no account or dealings with. The people on the other end were talking together unaudibly for at least 30 seconds before some lady spoke through the phone claiming to be carphone warehouse, which she called ‘carphone company’. Hang up and block this number immediately.

SCAMMERS, asked if they are speaking to (my full name), I said yes and they said they have received a notification to investigate my account. I asked what the reason was for that and they said "well you have outstanding debt that you pay each month, is that right?" I said no, I don't have any debt and they hang up. I've never had a loan, not even an overdraft. So yeah, not a legit number/business.
Just got a phone call to the landline from an Indian guy calling himself ‘Jason’ purporting to be from Microsoft. He knew my surname but when I told him that I knew that Microsoft NEVER phones he put the phone down. The number is 003726933068. STAY SAFE.

Automated call Although not in my address book, number came up on my phone as being from Eastern Avenue Baptist Church and showed the address of 119 East Raod, Dagenham, Romford RM6 6YJ Automated message said I was being investigated and if I did not make contact with one of their officers, my National Insurance number would be withdrawn and then asked me to press 1 to speak to someone. Felt suspect.
SCAM, Tom is extremely harassing. He will call you and keep calling you until you pick up the phone. He makes you feel pressured into buying electricity with him. Not a friendly service, not a friendly man, almost feels like a scam and dangerous. Block his number because he will be extremely persistent. Well this was interesting! 028 4067 1515 (Banbury) just rang, it is Saturday at 10:55am. I did a quick google while the phone was ringing and came up with the Anglers Rest pub in Banbridge. Weird (I have no connection to the area) but seemingly legit. When I picked up, the caller said he was calling from Currys/PCWorld with a cheap mobile phone offer. I said I don't need a new phone and he said thanks and ended the call. The whole "using a legit number" is hella sneaky!!
