Text message saying "you missed a call at 18:23, caller did not leave a message" Phone did not ring at that time, have not called back as it will only encourage more calls, have blocked.
Silent call - multiple calls to my mobile. No one speaks but you can hear someone breathing on the line. If you call back no one answers.
Caller claimed to be from an organisation which teaches English as a foreign language to Philippine people in need and wanted to recruit me as a volunteer to have conversations with students - quote "they may ask you questions about your life". I asked where I could check this scheme out and he said his manager would call back with further details. Very suspicious. SCAM Caller said that they were from Curry's PC world. I knew it was a scam call and told the caller I wasn't interested and ended the call. If they were a genuine caller then they would have known that Curry's PC world no longer exists as it's now known as just Curry's. I checked the number and it actually belongs to Wee Timorous Beastie Cafe in Stirling, Scotland.

I have already reported this number. It is the dialling code owned by mobile provider Hutchison 3G UK Ltd. I do not know the ID of the phone number 874428 other than what garbled message I've heard suggests it may be from India. I'm unable to make a connection but Hutchinson's have an Indian call centre; from a limited number of reviews it seems Hutchinson's don't have a very good reputation as a provider of services.

SPAM from a caller with a strong foreign accent, possibly Indian. I struggled to understand what was being said. They were wanting me to confirm that I was the council or housing association tenant and to discuss paying for repairs/damages. Addressed me by my first name. This was the second call of this nature I had had, albeit from a different number, of the same nature in less than 1/2 hour. I believe it was the same company who had ignored my initial request to remove my number from their list.
This is for a travel agent called Tropical Sky. It was a legitimate call in my case.

Called me; recorded message started 'This is a Bank Notification'. We have received two charges . .' Obvious nonsense, I ended the call.. This has all the hallmarks of a potential SCAM. Do not respond.
