Received a call 14th Feb 2023. It showed up as suspected spam but call ended quickly whilst I was still thinking about whether to answer. Probably was company offering to get us money back for timeshare purchase. A recent call also showed as suspected spam turned out to be from garage confirming my appointment with them.
Says from BT and there is problem with my broadband. When questioned caller rang off. Subsequently received email about my bill, which is not due yet. Suggest this is a scam.
Block and report immediately.

This number called me when I was not at home. They didn't have the courtesy to leave a message on my answerphone. On phoning this number, I find that it is non-existent. This is usually an indication that a scam caller is spoofing the number, so that they can't be traced.
Caller claimed to be from a charity which teaches English as a foreign language to impoverished populations and wanted to recruit me as a volunteer to have conversations with students - quote "they may ask you questions about your life" so I believe a long con to gain information about my identity.
