SCAM Someone with an Indian accent called stating they were calling from Microsoft Windows about hackers using my email. They put me through to a technician and they started getting a bit angry with me as I could not understand what they were saying because of their accent. They told me that hackers were using my computer and that I was not to use my computer and to take it down to their offices in Reading!

Told the caller his records were out of date as they were the last time he called.... so I don't think we have anything to discus. Hung up. SCAM This is a proper scam. They are pretending to be ee and they are trying to give you an update. They knew some bits about me when they called but I got suspicious when they started asking for bank details. They changed my account password and ordered an iPhone 14. I called ee straight after I spoke to them as I was suspicious. It turns out they even changed my email as I couldn’t access my account anymore!!!!!!!

I am in Greece and have a Greek mobile. I had a missed call from this number. As we have UK-based clients I called the number back and the bakery had no idea what I was talking about! I have come across this before with UK numbers, can a third party somehow hijack a landline number?

Seem to be using at least 4 different numbers but all the same company. When they do speak it's to talk about trying to get social landlord to do repairs on your property, but I suspect that's just their latest scam. Same person has then tried calling back next day from a different number as I blocked the first one, each time I block I get called from a new one. Now when one calls and I answer they hang up.
