Today, told them again and said I was sick of getting these call. Superb sales man told me that I should " get F- - - K ING used to it ". It seems as though this could be a nuisance caller. My husband and I have both had calls from this number today, on our mobiles, while on holiday in France. It's slightly worrying, as we have many friends and relatives in the Manchester area. Our phones silence any unknown numbers but as no voicemail messages were left we are assuming the calls weren't important.
Claiming to be from National Insurance and asking me to press 1 to speak to an investigator before action is taken against my national insurance number. They claimed some fraudulent activity on the North Wales border. I didn’t press 1 and ended the call as I’m sure that’s a scam.

Call from a SCAM gardening & landscaping firm (Tree & Landscaping Services) who send round a team (family members) who will not go away until paid large sums of money. My mother paid them over £600 for about an hour with a chainsaw cutting down healthy trees. They demanded payment in cash & took her to a bank to collect that. I reoprted the offenders to Greater Manchester police who refused to take action.

Scam - Caller said that they were from Microsoft and, over the last four days, they have received notification that hackers etc had got access to my computer. If I turned on my computer they would be able to clear them from it. When I said it was a scam, I was told that if I did not let them remove the hackers, Microsoft would have to stop any computer from being able to work from my address in the future.

Very dangerous. Auto message claiming to be bank fraud office and advising 3 suspect transactions. Asked to press 1 if ok, 3 if not. Did not even give name of the bank! Red flag that auto - they always talk to you in person - they would also want to check that it was actually the custoner talking to! Another red flag re instruction go press button.
This number as others lately are trying to obtain financial information from you bit by bit, I've blocked them all, thou these still seem to be coming through
