Called on mobile today when I asked what they wanted in a very unfriendly way they cut the call.
Definitely, do not talk to them they sound very dodgy. PPI claiming. Quite annoying and agressive. I hung up after 5min talking to them.
They knew my name and said they were "Quadrangle", this was nearly 9pm. Seen the other comments so I have now blocked them.

Well they got cut off - put my phone on "do not disturb" 24/7 and "allow calls from contacts" However if you do speak to them and if they ask about an accident best thing is to say "which car?" It gets them every time!

Just rings up several times in the day, hangs up after a few rings and before answerphone comes in to take the call. Have blocked three different numbers who ever they are. have shortened rings for answerphone to come in early

My brother got a call from this number asking for a gas meter reading. He was not sure where the caller was from but a 1471 and internet search brought up this number as belonging to British Gas. However I am not with British Gas but with Southern Electric, for at least the last 6 years. I called Southern Electric who said they did not call for any reading and would not do so. Fraud I did not pick up just listening the voicemail. There was a robot voice who told calling fron HMRC about my tax and if I not calling back they going to send the police. Sooo now, I'm waiting for the police to knock on the door.

Called no message left. When I returned the call a real person answered alleging they were from HMRC. The call had very noisy background which sounded like a call centre. I immediately hung up the call.

Fraud Comes up looking like a regular mobile number but it is a automated call informing of your national insurance card been identified and used for fraud. Didn't bother listening to the rest of the call as hung up but googled it and it seems its a relatively new scam not fully logged yet.
The caller said your income tax has not been paid, and asked for payment. I know mine has been paid. t#The phone was put down by me.
I did not recognize this number, so I decided to let it go to voicemail. Needless to say they did not leave a message. Looking at the previous comments, it was the correct thing to do by ignoring the call. My motto is ... if it is important/legit then they will leave a message.
