Well, they phoned earlier and a recorded message informed me, that it was my banks security department, which it obviously wasn't, the number trace showed a call the Russian Federation, RED FLAG. She said, Somebody has accesed your account and made a £600 purchase fron Amazon and a £2,000 transfer to an international account, RED FLAG I politely told her to stop trying t scam people and she immediately hang up, basically, our phone providers should block these calls, as we are paying to receive them!
I had this call yesterday and told them I am not interested in a smart meter. He wanted me to confirm my name and address . They said I won't be contacted anymore. They do announce themselves to contact customers on behalf of EON and are not actually EON.I am sure eon knows about it despite they deny they use such call centres. Apparently I applied for life insurance, even though what I suffer from life insurance can't cover. Never ACTUALLY even googled life insurance, simply talked to my partner as he's reaching his 50s in a few years. But this guy was persistent and insisted I applied, so I asked the name of his business and he couldn't answer. Google didn't even acknowledge the number.
