James claimed he was from BT (i may have misheard this) and that my Router had been infected. He wanted my password so he could get into my system and correct the fault. I asked for his number and said i would call back. He said his extension was 601570
Caller stayed silent and didn t speak. Hung up after 15 seconds and didn t say a word but somebody was definitely on the other end and wasn t an automated call........creepy!
Automated Call saying it was HMRC, very threatening on the phone. Said they were an officer but i didnt catch the name. apparently i will be facing legal action if me or my solicitor does not make contact. I'm going to take a wild guess this is a scam.

Michael called, no idea what TP is and no explanation given, just that he has landlords for me. Which confuses me as surely a landlord would just contact me directly as an agent. SCAM I recieved a telephone call from what sounded like a call center, but the number was local (01942 491331) the man who spoke was asian sounding claiming to be from the' tax office', said I owed 6 months taxes. I challenged him and asked what ref number he had, he couldn't tell me so I asked for a name and number to call back but he just insisted I pay now or I would be arrested!, so I asked how much? he still couldn't tell me or even my name, just repeated my phone number.
