Got a text saying ‘Your parcel has been returned to our branch due to a failed delivery attempt. Please visit: https://evri-payment.com to reschedule a delivery’ I will not be doing that as I am not expecting a parcel. My parcel has already been delivered. May be legit but not taking any risks!!!!

Spam caller. No one was on the line, instead, it was an automated message saying it is HMRC and that legal action will be processed.

SCAM Unusually, this was actually an English person on the other end of the phone rather than a call centre setting from India etc! The number rang my works mobile at 10:05 09/05/2023. The person on the other end spoke very well and professional, saying that they were calling from HSBC, and were making me aware of activity in my account that looked suspicious, that money was being taken out by an advertising firm. Got another audio text message to my landline Another appointment reminder I thought I gave these people my mobile number as the contact but obviously not Will do when I see them next week I used to get a lot of these audio text messages to my landline at one time from this and a couple of other text to speech to landline translation and relay service numbers but am now only giving my mobile number as the contact when I can remember it As usual with these audio text services always ignore the instruction

Machine called, purporting to be my bank and telling me about two recent transactions in my bank. I was offered to press 2 to speak to an advisor, which I did and a woman answered (Asian accent) " 'allo, 'allo" then "can I help you authorise you bank account?". I declined. My bank knows nothing of this. So - this number is obviously using technology to try and get access to people's bank accounts.

Fraud This number was given to a very vulnerable elderly friend of mine for her to confirm a transaction on her debit card. Fortunately her bank did not sanction the transaction. The number is for a hotel in Vietnam!

SCAM: received a text message, allegedly from my daughter, at 00.54 in the morning which was 'hello mum, this is my new number. My old phone no longer works. Can you send this number a message on Whatsapp? 07706376356.' So I did. I then checked with my daughter, who confirmed that she has not changed her phone number. I have phoned the number twice since; does not pick up but does go through to an anonymous voicemail.

Called twice. Recorded message suggesting two payments made from my account £300 from Amazon and £1000 international payment might be a scam and that I should press 1 or 2. I know it wasn't from my bank. Believe it's a scam call from a premium number that charges extortionate amount per minute.
