Similar Manchester number - 01614646792 - is already reported as unsolicited call - telemarketing offering financial services/insurance marketing, I blocked this one trying to dig some info first, but no luck so far. People did someone answer it? Seems to be some call centre operating on the 016146467xx range. I have been using the ShouldIAnswer mobile application from these pages for blocking, works fine, can stop such calls and also a range of numbers (very usefull for call centres). No problems.

A man with a foreign accent said his name was Bernard and was phoning from UK Accident Care (doesn't exist) regarding the car accident I had some time in the last 2 years (I haven't!!). I asked where he got my information and he said it came from the Road Safety Authority (doesn't exist in the UK!!). I then asked him for the phone number of the Road Safety Authority so I could let them know that their information was wrong. He became very defensive and I became very persistent. This is obviously an attempt to get you to confirm personal details (I do not have an annual Prime account to begin with).
