Received a call from this number from person with Lancashire accent said he was from HYA. When asked who was HYA he said the company dealt with taking card payments. When I stated I was not interested he asked 'Why not'. I realised it could be a scam to obtain bank details and cut them off.

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as a scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8452864xxx range... Did someone answer any number of this range?
Said he was from TalkTalk and I had problem with router. Told him I didn't believe him and he should get a proper job and not lie to people and try to cheat them. Admitted he wasn't from TalkTalk and became abusive. Laughed at him and told him again to get real job. Got more abuse so I laughed again and hung up in the middle of more abusive tirade. Do you think I upset him?
