I received a recorded message from this number this morning stating: All my personal details have been compromised. I put the phone down straight away.
Claiming to be from BT - asks to check your Internet speed on Wholesale BT speed check site. Then explains there is a problem with your speed. The. Instructs to download any desk Remote Desktop app to take control of your device.
SCAM Called and claimed to be from Vodafone and offered 40% discount for six months as a loyal customer Asked to confirm my name, address, email address. When I asked that I wanted to be sure they were from Vodafone, and they exclaimed "of course it is Vodafone" I said no thanks and hung up

They were pretending to be BT Openreach. Noise in the background and English speaking was poor. Tried to tell me my internet was poor and we’re about to get into asking for my details. I blocked the number.

Indian lady in a noisy call centre, claimed to be 'BT Technical Services'. Said that there was a problem with my internet connection. I told them to carry on fixing it and cleared-down.
I think this is a scam caller. The number did not leave a voicemail. I notice that other people within the last few mins before me have been looking the number up so seems like a lot of calls from this number to people just now.

Very insistent woman claiming that I am due a payment because a 3rd party has admitted fault in a car accident in the past 12 months and I am due my excess back. Did not pursue the call but she effectively wanted me to complete a form over the phone and unwilling to send details in the post or elaborate on any information they hold about me. Could be phishing?

I have no clue who this is. They’ll ring my phone multiple times a day. The odd chance I do answer, I get nothing, just silence a bit of noise in the background then they’ll end the phone no matter how many times i say “Hello”.
Please do not trust this person because he will use someone else’s bank account and steal your money. This guy poses to sell stuff on internet but once you’ve transferred money over to this guy he’ll disappear and stop answering his calls or he’ll keep on saying next day and make stories up. 01416735153 called me. as i didn't know the number i declined the call. later at home i returned the call to find an automated american voice claiming to be market research. my smart cell phone informed me that it was a scam too.
