Automated call from “my internet service provider” stating that illegal activity has been detected on my account and my service would be disconnected within 24-48 hours….Then gave me a load of options…press 1, press 2…etc presumably to get me to speak to someone so that they could access money in some form or other. I have had a call from this number on my landline every day for the past two weeks. I do not pick up as I have caller display but it is quite annoying as it rings at all different times. There should be a way of stopping these calls.

Most of these calls originate from outside the UK so the rules or laws have no effect.

Automated message claiming to be from BT about a call I had missed regarding suspicious behaviour on my intranet (!), and that I would be disconnected as a result. Option to speak to someone about this. Obvious a scam as I am not with BT.

They need your debit card details to start paying off debts that you have. They milk you dry while you remain in debt. You lose money to pay their curry and mortgage. They want £50 to $70 per month, you get an empty bank for your trouble. DO NOT FALL FOR INDIAN SCAM, IF THEY WANT A FEE OR MONEY UP FRONT, TELL THEM TO F... OFF.

Received call at 20:38 he did not give his name just said he was from Lloyds Bank regarding a recent enquiry I made, I don’t even Bank with Lloyds anymore. He went on to ask can I spare him sometime? I told him no and this sounded like a scam to me then ended the call One other point he did not sound very professional
