I was called by someone called Chelsea from carephone who offered me an upgrade phone. She also gave me the number 08448933933 if I had any problems. I did receive the phone but didnt like it. I phoned the number and gave up after 57 minute being on hold. If you DO NOT recognise this, please visit https://blockchain.idauth.exchange This is clearly a scam/ploy, as I have no association whatsoever with 'Blockchain Exchange' and never even heard of it before now. I received a 'phone call from 02034326587. A gentleman with an Indian accent, who knew my first name, tried to sell me something about cryptocurrencies, whether it was a course or an investment opportunity I don't know as I replied that it wasn't anything I was interested in. Despite that, he was quite persistant, until I asked him where he had got my name and number, at which point the line went dead.
I'm with a different bank. I've never banked with Barclays in my life!

Call is from Carphone Warehouse, I've had numerous calls after looking in to an upgrade online. Now blocked.
They were asking did I have PPI, and asking me about a potential claim. They have called me twice, and twice I have told them not to phone me or this number again. They just hung up.

I tried to book a room at The Principal Oxford Spires Hotel, Abingdon Road, OX1 4PS, Oxford and called a number 08448542910 indicated on their website. I had to call twice as there was an automated telephone service and no one was able to answer my phone calls. Last month I saw a charge of 1.38 GBP plus VAT on my phone bill!! What a wrong way to make money!! Looks like the hotel is doing that badly so they have to charge potential customers to simply book a room. According to the reviews on the above number
