Comes up as suspected spam. Guy with an Indian accent said he was calling from a South African call centre on a Manchester landline! Claims he works for a company called UK Tariff that finds out if you're paying too much for your broadband or finds better deals. Thing is this so called company harasses with calls like 24/7 from different numbers most of the day. Hoping you're gullible enough to get to the part where you hand over your bank details. Best way is to report and block if it flags as spam.

This number has called me a couple of times. On both occasions the recorded message states that £700 has been taken from my card for Amazon and £2000 for another transaction. It asks you to press different buttons 1 or 2 to authorise or stop the transactions. On both occasions I hung up and checked my bank account and my amazon account. This is a scam. Be aware.

How did they get my details when this is not my phone it's paid for by somebody else 250 miles away. The mind boggles at how much scammery people think they can get away with. 28 Nov. 2022 (17:33) a chap with Indian accent called me claiming to be from BT to say that my computer may have been compromised and that he could check that for me if I switched it on and he ran a quick check. Complete nonsense of course and an attempted scam. He said he was calling from London but the area code is Falkirk (Scotland).

Caller said he was Virgin Media Technical Department and believed I was having trouble with my internet speed. He wanted me to do a speed test but when I said that I couldn't do that he disconnected. I've been with Virgin for many years and they've never phoned me in the past. As far as I'm aware, Virgin never phone customers when there's any problem so I'm rating this call as dangerous.
