Got a text message claiming to be from PayPal saying; “PayPal: We have suspended your account due to safety concerns. Please visit our resolutions area in link bellow to regain full access to your account.” Then there was a link which I have not inserted here, looked dodgy. Also, I deleted my paypal account in July so its defo not paypal.
This number has persisted in phoning 3-4 times a week for months, its clearly cold callers with no telephone manners and they will say anything to get you to sign up to a direct debit. A bit strange as my number is x-directory and im registered with the TP
Scam. Definitely. So-called call from "security department". I asked 'security department' of what? The woman (Asian voice - lots of background "office" noise) repeated, 'This is the Security Department!' to which I repeated "Of what?!" She hung up. Point made. Case closed. Catch the bastards!
