This number keeps ringing but I don t answer it. They are persistent and a nuisance.
I was called by this number and was offered a 30% discount on the next bill. They had my email address and they asked me to give them 1 time pass code. However when the conversation continued and I was asked the security sensitive questions I refused to answer Definitely a scam!

They have the audacity to call you, but when you answer the phone they can t even be bothered to speak.
SCAM: Automated message saying my national insurance number was involved in illegal activity and I would be arrested if I didn't "press 1 to speak to an officer". I did not press 1 and the call ended after the automated message finished. I called back and the number was not recognised.
Second time they tried...scammers and don t know how they got my number...very angry.. BEWARE

Guy with very strong Indian accent, calls within seconds of me posting an advert on Gumtree. Said he was from Victoria Insurance and that it was about my recent minor road traffic accident I reported a couple of days ago. Told him I ve never had an accident and hung up. Number now blocked. Called my elderly grandad just now (isn?t the first time). He couldn?t understand him so passed the phone to me. An Indian man calling from ?Remote Security? and enquiring about a ?computer or laptop in your house? I told him we didn?t have either and he carried on trying to talk, so I repeated that we didn?t have either and to not call again and he hung up.
