I am suspicious of this number because after receiving a possible ?phishing call I made a 1471 call to discover the number the call came from I was given this number, which I rang. It was answered by a man who told me he was in Kent and i told him why I had called his number but nothing else(my name or location) i suggested he should look into how this could have happened and that his line might be compromised somehow.

SCAM - i think they were a scammer, (I'm not positive but they usually are these unknown numbers). They were phoning from outdoors in Trafalgar Square in London, so they could literally be anyone, they weren't a business, (they weren't one of those that hung up immediately, they waited until after I spoke). They phoned twice that day.

A very well spoken man said he was calling from some company (I didn't catch the name) to do with my Scottish Widows life insurance. A man rang from this number, I think he said from PAC - had my name and said I had been advised by a financial adviser to move my pension. When I asked where he got this information, he said from Pensionwise. As far as I am aware Pensionwise do not have such information. I said I had not seen a financial advisor or been advised to move my pension. The man was very polite and rang off. I was suspicious and think it could have been a dangerous if I had shared financial info.
