If this really is HSBC s fraud dept they are staggeringly incompetent and l am by no means convinced that it is. Question of whether there has been fraud on my account remains unsolved - l was unable to give the exact year that l opened my account - approx 40 years ago - and so failed my telephone security check . Silent call I received several calls from this number and I didn't answer for the first few rings as I am a bit paranoid about my privacy but it ended up being a follow up call to my ideal world purchase LOL! All that worry for nothing!

Called and like others, reported to be from Microsoft, said that they had the serial number of windows that was reporting that my computer was being hacked as we spoke by a criminal gang (how ironic!) and that they were from an agency who needed to stop the gang by stemming the flow through my PC.....Said we know an IT expert who we would ask to take a look ourselves, he (called himself Peter Wilson) said that an expert would not be able to find it. Became agitated and said I needed to call him back on 0042

What is wrong with these people? Calling several times a day every day. Blocked them and phone doesn t ring but their number still keeps coming up Surely there must be someone to report this to and something that can be done to stop it.
