I was caught out by this today. They claimed to be calling from O2. Luckily, I realised after the call ended and was able to change my account details before any damage was done. The scammers knew all of my details - full name, address, email address, how much I'm billed each month - even my security question. They were very convincing. A cold call from a Russian-based phone ... one doesn't need to give too much thought to that ... I obviously didn't answer.

Scam. They insisted I had asked for help with services and sent me an email to prove it. Email is blank apart from the only thing there - a button that says "Previous messages". I had no dealings with the caller previously and I know I haven't sent any emails. So it is clear that link goes to and does something fishy!!!

Continuous calls from this number saying they do all of BT Renewals! I have an online account with BT and direct access to BT, and any changes or renewals to my accounts are dealt with direct, so why are they bothering me? I have told them to stop or I will make a formal complaint.

Usual stuff. Today i asked them to hold the line while I find the details. Set the timer and put the phone on mute. I ve had them wait for as long as 10 minutes before. The more time I waste the less they harass somebody else.
