Just got a call from this number telling me that I had made an overpayment of £2500 on my loan that I took in 2009. Then she started asking who I bank with and if the banks are either Barclays, Santander, Netwest etc. I wasn t even in the UK in 2009 so I started asking him questions on which loan I am due to a repayment on and then he hung up!

Very annoying constant calls from same number. Left to go to answer machine each time but no message left and they ring off.The really annoying thing is that mine phone is an unlisted private number and they still found it and abuse it.
Said to be dealing with an accident claim of mine. But I haven't had an accident.

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as a scam offers (in most cases free boiler replacement scam). I recommend to block the whole 84305006xx range... Did someone answer this number?

I answered call as it appeared to be a glasgow number . Caller claimed to be calling from LRA as above and stated they were checking that insurance company had paid out on my ( non existent ) claim for a (non existent) accident in my ( non existent) car. I asked him to send me the paperwork regarding this and he hung up on me . They are obviously ambulance chasers looking to find claimants to represent and make profit from.
