I'm guessing spam - didn't let them get far to find out as I kept quizzing them about who they were and never confirming who they are supposed to be talking to. Said they were from a company called something like brnza (couldn't quite understand the accent) saying they want to email me something on behalf of Dell and they read out an email address they wanted me to confirm (which of course I wouldn't). I basically said this call is unauthorised, I refuse you to email me anything and do not call me again.

Received a call from this number today, and also had a missed call for the last 3 days. Once connected it has a few seconds of silence, a nice clear sign its unsolicited but I thought I d wait and see who they were. Bloke on the other end told me he is from ICS and they got my number from third party who advised there is an unclaimed category C claim against my household (despite it being a call on my mobile). Fraud This number is being used in an attempted fraud. I received a letter purporting to come from Lloyds Bank referring to a conversation that had not taken place and asking me to complete and sign a form giving details of my back account, sort code and memorable wo. The letter looks genuine, uses a genuine Lloyds address and gives this number to call with questions.

No-one spoke when I answered the call. The caller rang off.
This number keeps calling my elderly mother pretending its about a loan she had. They keep providing her with info like date of birth, asking her to confirm expecting her to provide the correct one. When I ring this number it says it is an old number. My 11 year old was with her when they last called and he said they were very pushy and kept asking her to confirm bank details.

An automated message - has called me numerous times over the past week. I ve tried pressing 9 to opt out. Makes no difference at all, so this time spoke to someone by pressing 5 . Apparently they will remove my number -takes up to 48 hours. Definately the most persist nuisance call I ve ever had.

Has called my number 11 times in two days, it rings three times before going dead. This time I caught it in time and got someone trying to sell me insurance. If I wanted more insurance, I would go and buy it!
