This woman said that my telephone number had come up on her mobile for her to ring "post". Sounds like some sort of scam - probably connected with PPI as most of them ...

i received a phone call off these and i asked them to remove my details as i no longer need a loan and he sid no. i had 3 missed calls and on the 4th i answered, he shouted at me so i hung up. in total in 15 mins i had 34 missed calls of them.

says they are from paypal and asking for passwords and data , being as I have never had a paypal account I think is very dangerous that they knew my name and phone number

Many report this number as being Scottish Power... But what I got was a silent call typical of any scammer. And, as I don t have a Scottish Power bill owing I blocked the number! - I say it s a fake/fraud/phishing attempt.

Got a txt message "order confirmation. Thanks for placing an order of ?127.49. Go to bit.ly/1KYBlnF to manage your order" I didn t follow the link. Didn t place any orders. I applied for a boiler and got few replies yesterday. I left my mobile number. It s the only way anyone could have got my number within last few days. Can anyone else think of something similar that could have let the scammer obtain their number?
