Automated message saying an amount of money had been taken from my account. Obviously a scam

I called this Scam number from a letter send by a company call Rothesay and Experian. A man answered and put me through to a woman who started asking me a lot if personal questions. I discovered she was located in South Africa. I then realized it was a SCAM.

Agree with anon. I told the lady not interested and don’t call back (not that I would really understand what she was saying). It then phones me back asking why I am not interested. This really pees me off and suffice told her to do one and hung up. She called again, ignored it and blocked it.

Automated phone call supposedly from Nationwide, only it isnt from Nationwide at all. Scam.

I'm more and more convinced it is a scam. I was called this morning, by an automated voice, that there is a proceeding against me because I didn't pay my taxes, and if I want to avoid further consequences (including jail!), I should press 1. Pulled over, pressed 1, a female voice greeted me and asked for personal data. I didn't give any, and asked if there is a number I can call them back on. She said she would call me back later instead. Once home, checekd with HMRC, no issues with my status or taxes.

Fraud Pretended to be from O2 about our bill. Wanted to send email and one time code. Clearly not from O2 or Manchester - unless the Manchester accent has changed recently

TAXES / HMRC Recorded message informing me of my 'Tax evasion' & how it could result in jailtime. Usual Press 1 or 2 option

SCAM Saying from the bank (which bank?) and that my card had been used to buy Amazon goods and an International money transfer, then asking me to press 1 if this wasn't me. I deleted message.

Scam recording from my visa card Co advising 2 fraud transactions for big amts, called my card Co from no on bk of my card and no transactions have taken place, be careful all especially the elderly, try use a credit card at all times then transfer from Yr debit card to pay it, never take out he house Yr debit card, as bank don't always reimburse u for fraud, the credit card Co will if you have shown you took care reporting any suspicious activity and were careful with Yr details online. SCAM Recorded message with claim that Amazon etc etc have charged bank card. Giveaway is that there is no security/identity check at all. Amateurish and incompetent.

SCAM National debt help line, have rung so many times with different numbers. Asked to be taken of their list more time than i can remember ..... have now blocked 18 numbers claiming to be them.

Someone from "London stock exchange" several phone calls a flday for the last week. Last guy I spoke too called me a "motherf***wring c***" so I assume they aren't an actual company.

SCAM came up as amazon re prime membership. On phoning amazon they confirmed they would never telephone their customers re payments. Message sounded reasonably genuine but its a scam so dont press anything, just hang up
