Told me my appliance cover was expiring shortly. When I said I wanted to make a claim he changed his mind and said it had expired. SCAM obviously, but who issues these phone numbers knowing they are used to defraud - somewhere a legit company has to be issuing these. They are no better.
Just got my new phone yesterday and have had 6 missed calls from this number already!!!!! I havent answered any and dont intend to! This needs to be stopped now!!!

I didn t answer the call as very suspicious but rang them back to get info. Say they re claims specialists and got my details from Motor Insurance Bureau. I haven t had an accident and they had my name wrong. Very foreign accents. I suspect a scam. have blocked the number.

Prerecorded have you or someone you know had a car accident message that ended abruptly. When I called back I had a message saying the number does not exist.
Recorded message saying internet connection to be shut down in 24 to 48 hours due to some illegal activity.
caller didnt announce himself, just asked me to confirm personal details but when i asked, he claimed to be from "the nationwide". He had my name, phone number and postcode. He wanted me to confirm my age but as soon as i asked him further questions he hung up and ended the call. This was obviously not a legitimate call from the nationwide building society.
had daily calls from this number for last 4 days. Just silent when answered. When numbered called back message says "number not recognised".

This number called me today saying with an automated message that there was a fraudulent charge for a US gambling site and if I wanted to no more I was to press one. 100% SCAM DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS!!! The bank would never phone u with an automated call and not identify themselves and ask u to press numbers like this. This is so they can get access to ur details. These people r TOTAL SCUM. Scammer - picks a common name (like Julie) and if you know one (as I do) they pretend Julie has a new number and tell you to delete the old number. Then they ask you to send the details i.e. names and numbers of everyone you both know - so they can be scammed (and they will as the scammers will then have names. I sent them details of Mickey Mouse, Donald Trump and the Queen. DO NOT GIVE YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS NUMBERS OUT
