"Amazon Prime" scammer
Received an email from ' PAYPAL' about a fruadulent activity of £899.99 I contacted the above number and they sent me a 6 digit security number to my mobile and also told me my last 4 digits on my card !!! All seemed very legit..........UNTIL he told me he needed my full card number to put a stop on a further 12 transactions !!! I rejected his request which he seemed to start getting annoyed and agitated !! THIS SEEMS A VERY PROFESSIONAL SCAM DO NOT REPLY TO THEM .

Call center -operative claimed to be from Virgin Media Technical Services; said he needed me o take my (landline phone) into the room with the computer, then turn it on, so he could do something to my router, to "give me the speed [I] was paying for". I've had at least four calls from these guys (with heavy Asian accents, to the point of not being able to be understood); it is the same script, but the calls have come from a number of different phone numbers in the West Midlands. This number is used by Boku, a phone collection service (based in San Fransico, USA - with supposedly Europe wide offices) that collects "subscriptions" from, normally inadvertantly, "subscribing" to on-line adverts, messages and web sites. Boku send you a confirmation text, using this number, to tell you that you have just subscribed again. Had a call from a Wayne (over friendly in my opinion) about 4 items purchased prior to Christmas and asking if I d had to return any of the said items, then went on to talk about monthly payments and how I m now in control of what and when I pay. I told him two of the items had been paid for outright. All this information would be on my account, right?The call doesn t sit right with me so will be contacting the company about this call.

Spam call from a company claiming to be First Choice Solicitors or some such, “My information is you’ve been involved in a car accident that wasn’t your fault is that right?”......
I answered the call, I heard music in the background, then caller hung up. Damn nuisance as I stopped the car to answer. Now blocked, don't know if that will stop then though!

They then asked me When did the car accident take place?
