Yet another 'you have had an accident' call. Very smart automated system
constant daily calls no message left after an enquiry by me to Age uk. I told them if I want to proceed I will call them, still getting calls with no messgae left.

Told me that the manufacturer s warranty on my washing machine has expired (which is no surprise - it s at least 6 years old) and asked if I d like to renew it. Didn t give any company identifying information, and hung up while I was describing how obvious it was that they were trying to scam me.
Rang me twice in the space of one day. I gave them the silent treatment and they hung up.

Female caller with Asian accent claimed to be from Google, knew my surname, and began a query about my laptop or computer. As I didn't believe it a genuine call I said I'd sold my computer about three months ago. She asked about my Google ID (email?) and I feigned ignorance. She terminated the call. As my landline is not referenced by any of my Google accounts, this must be a scam.
