I ve been called 3 times by 01704222222 now and after saying just hello , I ve heard a Liverpool/Soutport accent and they have just hung up. I can block the number but next time I will hang on the phone and waste their time.
says hi mum i have a new number this is the new number you can save ....the old number can go.......i asked who are you and they sead take a guess

This number called my mobile then disconnected after 2 rings. I called it back and an automated voice in an irritating American accent said "Hi. Thanks for calling. Please hold while we connect you". After hearing this for 5 times in quick succession, I hung up and blocked the number. I'm guessing a spam or scam caller.
Called me a dozen times in the past two weeks - they ask to speak to the previous owner of my phone number (not at the same address). Refuse to remove me from list even when they find out I am not him. Scumbags!

THINK this may be DSV Solutions who have offices at Kingston, MK. Their main number is 01908 512277. They are delivery/recollection agents for made.com an online furniture company. I had dealings with them over a collection of a defective sofa. Seemed OK. Not certain about this but fairly sure.
Call from “John” claiming to be from BT Openreach regarding our internet connection. When asked how they got our number he promptly ended the call.

The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Obviously you were the ones they were looking for for them to steal your hard earned money from. Someone called me from this number and when I answered they never spoke - there was a lot of noise (call Centre noise) in the background. I have blocked this number.
