Text message left claiming to be from a child of mine, but didn’t give a name. Asked me to WhatsApp them and this was their new number, for a new phone as the old number was for the old damaged phone. It just struck me as odd so ignored and then blocked the number. I believe it was an attempt to get me to engage and was a scam.

Called this number on what appeared to be a chasing letter for £2,490 from EON, when queried on the call the lady advised it was debt collection service. I did not carry on with the call, checked my account and called EON direct who confirmed this was not from them

People find it hard to stay committed again. It’s becoming a difficult thing. Getting information & data you need is quite not a big deal. Sometimes the truth needs to be unveiled by whatsoever means necessary. Repeated calls from a non english speaker to tell me that I've registered for "online trading" re Brexit. I told them to go away and delete my number POLITELY on the first call, thereafter not so much.

Said he was called Jack from BT Business Head office and he could do me a better deal than by Local BT Business office. Jack, you seem to be the only person working for BT Business as you are the only person making these sales calls, for such a large business!!. I don't believe this is BT as you can see in other searches Jack seems to be the only person making these calls, probably to gain information about your business. He didn't get any from me. Possibly dangerous.

SCAM This looked like a local number BUT it was a recorded message purporting to come from Amazon about a sizeable sum taken from my account for an order and to press 1 if it wasn't me who made the order. Needless to say I hung up without pressing any numbers.
