This number keeps ringing me - my boyfriend answered it once (after many calls i refused to answer) and it was a man asking for another womans name. my boyfriend said he had the wrong number and it was left at that. However i have since had more calls from this number. I am very reluctant to answer it and i wish it would stop calling!

Called from this number asking about my "Microsoft product" very agressive when I said I could not switch on my machine at this time. Very strong accent, difficult to understand. When I asked where they were calling from she just got cross and told me my laptop wouldn t work if I didn t switch it on now!

This number called at 2:40pm on Friday 23/04/21. On answering a very loud noise was heard, the noise continued for about 20 seconds before the call was ended.
They knew my name, then proceeded to tell me that they were from the London Information Office and that I have made £39,740 in profit. I have no investments. Eastern European or maybe Turkish speaking English. Fake office noise in the background was too loud. Thieves.

Legit. Checks out with what is listed on the HSBC UK website. Though the call quality was very bad. Also, you know it's a genuine bureaucratic banking process when they ask for 10 different details to confirm your identity. Indian sounding gentleman saying I had a problem with my internet. Wanting me to turn my computer on. I gave him a reason I could not do this he then wanted to know when he could phone back. Tried putting him off but very insistant. So with any luck I wont be here when he calls next
Call centre Fraud, purporting to be from Sky regarding my internet connection, this time it was a sweet talking Asian girl who quite obviously hadn't been speaking English for too long, I interrupted her just a few words into her script and politely advised her that her English was not clear enough to be taken for a genuine Sky customer service adviser, where upon she said softly, OK Mr, and needless to say ended up feeling sorry for her.
