I had a silent call (on 15/5/15)& as I was expecting a call from unknown people on this area code, I used 1471 and phoned back. I heard a recorded message "You were called today by Media Match. The cal was not important and we will try again later. Goodbye" A Google search for Media Match shows a US firm with this name, but on websites similar to this one they claim that they do not cold-call and that their name is being mis-used. I had a marketing call from this number trying to sell me a new boiler. When I asked for their website the lady who introduced herself as Grace hung up.

Very abusive when you tell them you're in work and don't have time.. Guy started shouting at me asking if I was stupid...!!

Has rung me around 10 times in the last day, a couple of times I have answered and I the caller has hung up. I thing they are so used to people not answering, they are shocked when someone answers and he just hung up.

Cold caller didn t leave a message

Much like the other reviews, my 83 year old Grandmother was called and told the warranty on her boiler had run out and that they needed to take payment to renew it. No explanation of who they were etc. Reported it as fraud to her bank but also called to cancel policy and ask for full refund. Worried now that this may not be honoured after reading other posts. Awful, underhand, dishonest sales tactics. Bet they re laughing all the way to the bank.
