this number rings us daily, every time you answer theres silence then a loud "BEEAAARR" sound and the line goes dead. we are in dorking and 01306 is our local code, presume some spammer/scammer/marketer spoofing the number, or calling from a VOIP number, hoping we d be more likely to answer a local code call. Time wasters, never a human there, what is the point of these calls? June 2016.

"Mark from Windows Support" called me to tell me that my computer had been attacked by a virus. I was pretty sure at that point, because most of the time it is up to you to call the company if you have a problem with your computer and not the other way around. Potential scam. There was a recorded message supposedely from my internet service provider (although it didn't say which ISP they were calling on behalf), saying that our internet service would be disconnected in 4 hours due to 'Router Malfunction'. Our router is working fine. I suspect this is a 'Technical Support Scam', where we would be expected to pay for fixing something that isn't broke.

Scam broadband issues

Called both my mobile and my landline - both numbers have voicemail facility, but no message left on either! If it s important enough to call, they should leave a message. Just hanging up suggests it s some sort of telesales which, as I m registered with TPS, should not be happening. Am vey annoyed!!

I just ignore any calls I don't recognise, they get fed up eventually
