Re below....untrustworthy!!! Claimed to be from EE, asked me if they were speaking to me by my name, I confirmed that they were speaking to the right person. Then they said “I’m going to hang up now” then hung up Reported to EE, they said they are a marketing company and are partners with EE as he checked it on the EE website. .Harassing Cold call . Trying to sell roof insulation. Do I buy from harassing cold callers??? Nope! Knew our name and address. Asked him where he got details - said from database but could not say what. Told him should at the minimum his company should be vetting against telephone preference service. Asked him to remove our details from his database to comply with current GDPR rules. Kept him talking for a good 10 minutes to stop him harassing others during that time
0161 354 4344 Saying they were Home essentials. Had 2 calls a few weeks ago, they wanted me to confirm personal data, I refused & asked them not to phone again. More calls today started 8am, really argumentative when I advised they were asked not to call me again. Really rude & very pushy. Hung up.

Said that because they’d refunded an overpayment that my account may show in arrears and I may receive an automated letter due to this error. They will remove it but wanted to let me know that they may not be able to stop the letter. If they’re making this many calls for this reason they should probably just have sent an email to everyone!
