This showed up as a local number 01592 is our dialling code turned out to be some south African woman from a financial service BLOCKED.
Called and sent text. Text said that they wanted to discuss business opportunity (???) It IS Advantis, which I understand is a collection agency with gov contracts, but I, WITHOUT ANY DOUBT WHATSOEVER, have NO debt, never mind outstanding debt, and I am DEFINITELY NOT connected to any HMRC "issues", either myself or vicariously. So obviously they either make mistakes, or they are involved in other activities outside of outstanding debt.

started talking about a survey. i asked them to remove my number from their list. response was "why should i?". i replied saying i was fed up getting calls that i hadnt requested and that i was busy. She told me that if i was busy i shouldnt have answered my phone!!! i will be taking this further

Verbally abusive, trying to sell online trading workshops etc. I have never given my information to a company like that. So no idea how they got my information. Horrendously rude member of staff on the phone who ended up shouting at me when I asked him to delete my information.

I received an unsolicited call to my personal mobile, which started with the announcement that the person was "Molly" and then gave a surname and company, and went on to ask about an accident "in which you were innocent". The "person" or computer voice (I was unsure) did not answer my questions about where they got my number and kept persisting about an accident. I ve just checked my phone and although I ve added this number to my reject list it shows on the log that in May they rang on the 28th - 27th (twice)- 25th - 23rd - 22nd - 21st - 16th, boring blah blah blah. At least I don t have to answer them but they don t half fill up my call log quickly. By the way the pattern of calls goes way back. Persistent if not futile. This number called today at 07.36 and claimed to be from Microsoft. The person with an Asian accent told me my computer has been compromised and said have you herd of hackers. I asked for an email to confirm it was Microsoft but he reassured me it was and trust him he has details of my computer security number, we went round incircles a bit, then I put the phone down. 10secons later he called back asking why I put the phone down as I new he was genuine but called me from a different number02088884827.
