Just received a call from this number, I answered, there was silence and then after a few second a beep followed by a robotic lady saying "Goodbye" I had received a missed call from this number a few times so this time I stupidly decided to call it back - not a normal ring tone for London/UK number. A man answered, sounded very much like a call centre and said "This is (forgot the name) from HMRC, what is your name?", I gave him my name and he said "We're looking for a Sheila Stevens". Stephen (with a strong Indian sub-Continental accent) called from the "National Bureau" and addressed me by name, about an accident someone in the household had suffered in the last three years (not true). I asked for their telephone number as they had our details. He asked if the information about the crash was true before he could give it, I asked for their number, he asked if the information was true, I asked for their number etc and this went on 3 times. I never got round to telling him we are TPS

I believe this to be a telephone/banking scam. They purported to be my bank but they said they wanted me to open another account and transfer money from my account into this other account - at that point I stopped the call and called the number on the back of my debit card and reported the call to my bank fraud department.
This company called saying that they were aware ny pension had been frozen. (I left work in May 2015 due to ill health...I'm 38) they had no info about my pension and kept asking me to confirm my details...which they had non of. According to them the Gov had asked such companies to call people who could be subject to costs for freezing their pension, this company could do a free report to see if I was one of those people.
