you had a car accident blah blah blah. came up as a local number (chesterfield)but was down south when i asked.when i said any accidents i had had had been delt with and all claims made she put phone down on me. nice.

Missed call from this number which left voicemail, very heavy African accent, female automated voice, sounded a bit garbled. Said someone was "filing a lawsuit against you, press one now to talk to your caseworker" I ve heard of this scam doing the rounds, I ve now blocked this number and registered it with "Should I answer" app as dangerous scam.

Said she was calling from a concert company but then went on to say she had just been informed that I d been involved in an accident that wasn t my fault. Ignore!

this was a call from Elite Direct in rainham Essex It was there UK Mail Order Service. They were not cold callers they phoned regaridng a order.

Another load of con artists using the phone to try and extort money from gullible people. In my eyes these deadbeats are only one step from criminal. Who in their right mind would do business or give bank details over the phone, and to a unknown voice at an office or house with no address? You don t know these people, you don t know their location, you don t know their reputation, you don t even know what country they are ringing from!This is just telephone SPAM. Just had a call from this crowd, asking if I was the main user of the Microsft windows device in the house. The line was bad and he had to keep repeating himself. I told them I didn t use windows I was a Mac user and they hung up. Definite SCAM,
