My wife took the call and person with a Asian voice started to go on about my council tax and when i asked why he was calling at this time he said it was very important and i told him all government offices are closed and that this is a failed scam and he and his boss must be as thick as hell to call at this time then i put the phone down. Beware its another scam.

AVOID!!! 020 357570311 has called at approximately the same time each day for the past few days (August 2014). I have to have the answerphone on to filter my land line calls due to scam calls. When I called back it was answered by an American voicemail saying "The number you have dialled is not in service". Had about 10 abandoned nuisance calls from this number this week and today, I finally got someone to talk to! She pretended to be a solicitor but when challenged had to admit she was not intelligent enough to be a solicitor. I refused to confirm who I was which irritated her hugely. My telephone is recorded on TPS so this is unlawful cold-calling which I will be reporting to various agencies, namely BT Nuisance calls bureau, TPS, Trading Standards, Companies House, Law Society etc. etc.
