SCAM - Picked up call on my mobile. Asian sounding man alleging he had received a file from RGA regarding my "claim". I firmly informed him that I have no claims arising but he was persistent. He hung up when I wouldn't back off and get into conversation. Definite scam, number now blocked.

this number called my mobile this morning..i wasnt going to answer but i did...it turns out to be an insurance company acting on behalf of an injury lawyer scheme..who claimed to have been given an old file with my name on it for a car accident i had 3 yrs ago...i dont drive nor have i had a car accident in the last 3 yrs...the caller promised to remove my details and not call again...
Fairly well spoken Man claiming I had just called him from my number. Repeatedly asked me for my name when I kept telling him that I hadn’t called him he kept asking me who he was speaking to! Told him I wouldn’t give him my name as he had called me and not the other way round. He went way in the end. Not sure if it was a genuine mistake on his part but I’d certainly not called anyone snd double checked my phone, but he was determined to try and get my name.

Have previously had about three missed calls from this number - just picked up the latest call and they informed me that I d had a car accident at some point since July 2010 - I have never had a car accident, thank goodness. I believe it is someone who called the wrong number. I got a caller on my mobile. I have my number for more than 10 years. I think she misdialled from her phone. She asked for Gemma. I just said there is no Gemma and she got the wrong number. I can't say if this is a trick or not.
