This is a scam. They phoned me on my (not a smart) mobile. An automated American voice stated they were from HMRC informing me that I owed money and they were sending the dept collectors around. To discuss this matter further and settle the debt I should press; 1. Problem is, I did my Tax Return in April and don't owe any tax. I've not owed tax for years. This is because I am on Carers Allowance. HMRC do not have my mobile number. SCAM

Called me up saying they were from "Support Assist" and understood I had recently been in an accident. After it transpired that this was not the case, the charming man on the other end of the line said "you fucking idiot" and hung up. Tried to call them back to glean a little more information - an automated message tells you to email [email?protected] - which bounces back. I will track them down eventually.

I just received a call off this number I am on a pre payment deal of just over £60 a fortnight, payment was due today and I always pay online.... This people are south Asian (their tone is Indian like),They told they are are from Carphone warehouse. when i asked for email and they send me an email from : <[email protected]> which clearly states it is scam. Because if you see the domain name of the email, it is clear that its not carphonewarehouse.
