i’m not sure who it is didn’t leave a voicemail or anything
phoned twice and left no message, do not know this number so it is now blocked

SCAM. Nothing happened when I picked up - as in no one said or did anything. After a bit of research I found that other people also received a scam call from this number.
For about the 8th time The Driveway Company called to ask about my drive assuming I had one! As I live on the south coast a nice local company from Doncaster!

They say they're from BT but I suspect the are not. Another scam phone call.
Do not trust this number - it is my landline number which has been 'spoofed' by a scammer. I have reported it to Ofcom and my service provider but there is apparently nothing that can be done to prevent this illegal activity in the short term.
Selling Life Insurance. A chap called Tyrone called - I asked him to delete my number from their system - his response "oh, are you getting a lot of calls about life insurance, that is probably because you're on the wrong one, let me go through these questions and we can find a better life insurance policy for you"...
Fraud Was chatting with someone online who gave me this number. Claimed she was 20 years old. Then she sent a nude pic of herself, then told me she's 17, but 18 next month. So I called a halt and said sharing pics with anyone under 18 is illegal, let's leave it here. She then looked me up on Facebook and threatened to tell my family I was sharing pics with a 17 year old unless I gave her £300. Received a call from this number today for purporting to be Bank Security ...then advising that a card of mine had been used for a £300 payment to Amazon; and then another payment of £1,000 etc etc. Not possible. It was at that point that I ran off. This was obviously a SCAM hub. The voice was an automated recording.

My policy is this - I never answer calls from private or with held numbers, and if a number shows up, but is not listed on my phone I still won`t answer the caller. My phone is for my use, not others to maybe scam call me.

Telling me I have had two withdrawals from my bank - one being from Amazon for £300 and the other for a couple of thousand from abroad. I had a phone call from (supposedly local) yesterday also saying this! Ignored it.
This number called and "released a lock issue" on my computer, Claimed to be Microsoft. He then chased up regularly for £500 in payment. Spoiler alert - Microsoft don't use this number. This male pretended to be called Alvin. Avoid as extremely convincing and dangerous criminal scam

A 'heads-up' for yet another scam. Today so far we have had three calls on our land line, apparently from "banking security", an electronic type message as such, saying we have pending a £300 payment to Amazon and a £1100 international funds transfer, press 1 to pay or press 2 to cancel.
