The one time I did answer a young female voice asked for my name, I said "why, who have you called?" she said she couldn t tell me because of data protection?? "Industrial Workers Union" scam from Derby had been ringing me daily for around three weeks. Finally gave in to temptation and picked up. "We re totally legit" and "a government body" the man said. Basically boiled down to cold calling people on a tradesman database looking to get money out of past employers for supposed hearing loss. These people are the scum of the earth and the reason this country is going down the tubes. Get a real job before it s too late! Don t trust anyone that asks for more details

Someone keeps calling me from this number and they hang up. There is background noise but no-one speaks.
Fraud Fake automated voice claiming to be from 'your bank' (note - no bank name specified) and that a transfer of £600 was being sent to an African country. Asked me to press a button to speak to them directly about it. I did not press any buttons I closed call and blocked/reported.

Told me I d applied for a loan, I hadn t! Refused to give his details or tell me where he had got my number from. He was very rude demanding I agreed to applying for a loan and that I wanted one! I asked to speak with manager stating I believed fraud was being commited in my name. He said he was the manager and promptly hung up on me. Don t answer calls from this number, not a pleasant experience.
Caller asked for someone else who lives in the house by name - after teh ususal telemarketing pause of silence..... When I explained they were not in and asked if I could take a message, the caller sounded annoyed that the person he called for was not in, and then HE HUNG UP. . Cold caller? Telemarketer? Rude - yes!

Indian call center claiming to be O2 and offering me a 30% discount but also asking me to verify that I'm the owner of the phone by text even though they called me. They also wanted me to tell them how much I was paying per month so that they could discount it, if they are from O2 then why would they not know how much I'm paying already? It's a scam, clearly. No matter how much he tried to persuade me otherwise.
