I d know this guy 10 years, I had no reason to say no... but I was busy at work so I stupidly gave him my log on to sort it out himself, I only had £100 in there anyway. SCAM - automated message claiming to be HMRC - you are a subject to a HMRC Investigation with arrest warrant being issued etc etc.. well known scam - if you call the number they will ask you to pay a nominal amount to clear the debt.. just ignore - the REAL HMRC will send you a brown envelope or send you a message via your Self Assessment portal, they will never call you cold

I called back the number after abvout the 10th missed call. They are a company called MJE who want me to make a claim for missold PPI due to a loan or credit card. I didn t take PPI so told them they were wrong. Asked how they got my number, they get their phone list from a company called DLG Marketing.
