DANGEROUS SCAM. The Phone rang and caller (a computer) hung up when I didn't speak! This was a computer generated call trying to sniff out voice lines. If you answered "hello" or anything else then the line will be detected as 'a voice line' and you'll likely be called back later by a very clever con-artist! Very noisy background. Claimed to be from EE. Could not answer any of my questions to prove she was calling from EE and hung up when challenged. Probably a scam.

This called with 2 other local numbers all withing a few hrs today, no messages left and no info on the net about them. i never have had calls to my landline ever and then 3 in one day. so be cautious about answering them. 01343554301

Fraud On Caller Display, this number looked like a London exchange. On answering, I got a recorded message saying it was something to do with bank security, followed by a message that was intended to frighten. I hung up, and have blocked the number. Others receiving calls like this might be taken in. What can be done to stop them?
