Robottic call warning about illegal activity on internet account, will eb disconnected in 24-48 hours if you dont respond, press 1 for our executive, 2 for tech executive. Clearly a spam call and getting you to press keys to incure charges on your phone bill.

Claimed to be from Halifax bank fraud team

On 15-02-2023 I was called, on my mobile by this (London) land line number. 020 45689768. When I replied the call got cut…. Called the number back and was connected to a voice message… Did not get the name of caller, so I called again…., but the same happened and the name pronounced was not clear to me…. It then offers 2 options to press a 2 or a 9 (the last one to ask them not to phone again…..) Obviously I did no such thing, as I “smelled a rat” . . . . . Simply blocked the number in my phone

Another scam call from "The Advisors", trying to sell premium savings on life insurance. 'Paul' tells me their website is at theadvisors.co.uk - visiting that results in a rather empty webpage from the domain owner trying to sell the domain for £800. No proper website in place! It's the second call I've got from 'Paul' at The Advisors this week, I blocked his previous number, which was 07723553123. You can spot a pattern in these numbers, they're 0772355xxxx. Called saying that they were from bank and that Amazon had taken money from my bank account for items sent abroad.

This number called me today at 10,00 am, claiming to be from 02. I hung up immediately.

Called 6 times in past 2 days I finally answered as if I was an anti fraud hotline and they hung up on me

Fraud Just got a call from this number it was a recorded message telling me about unusual activity on my account i.e Amazon £300.00 and another one for £1000.00. Hence I hung up.

Call was highlighted as potential fraud so did not answer. Number now blocked

they say it's from a security center and claim that two large p[ayments have been deducted from my card - and to press 1, if made by me and 2 if not

SCAM - Said its from Arrow Asset and I have registered online for online trading and wanting to go through the registration process with me. I hung up.

Fraud Had text claiming to be be from Starling Bank - text came through on same message thread as previous verification code so I thought it was genuine. Text advised suspicious activity in my account for which they would be contacting by phone (which they did the next day) They already had lots of my identifying info and put me through other checks. They’d cleared thousands out of my account by the time I’d called Starling bank a few hours later.

Fake insurance scammers be careful
