Woman phoned asking if I was Miss (my girlfriend s name) I m not the butchest of guys but I don t sound like a woman.... Very heavily accented Indian accent, also appalling sound quality with lots of noise in the background. When I asked who it was from, she mumbled something about PPI at which point I put the phone down.

I have caller display and never answer a call with a number I don t recognise. TPS is useless as these scam merchants don t use the listings anyway, and TPS cannot do anything about it. ICO doesn t seem to do much either. Simply let it ring... my answer-phone kicks in after twenty rings and is completely blank. I know who might call me and which calls I will answer.

NEVER give ANY information to callers.

Asked how many phones in business. How many workers. Asked something else but reception was busy so I ended call.

Hi everyone i had got a call of a lovely lady called keelie who told me i was entitled to claim some compensation back for my sickness. I have just recieved my cheque today. Lady said she was calling from Coastal and asked for me by name. Before I confirmed I asked what the call was about and she told me i was playing a very silly game. Avoid at all costs.

General opinion seems to be that it is Tesco. I don`t shop with them and have none of their other products/services, so not sure why they phoned

This number keeps ringing mid afternoon so I don't answer it as there has been silence when first answered.Obviously a call centre who waste peoples' time.Ignore them.

This number called 3 times within 2 hours. I answered once but the number hung up almost immediately. no rhyme or reason for the call so I can only assume a nuisance caller/system
