Missed call When I called back it said "the number you have called is not recognised"
SCAM. Purported to be from Carphone warehouse - claimed to be 'work with all major networks' to offer phone upgrade at up to 40% off. Ha. Couldn't tell me which network I was with, so probably trying to scam me.

Rang me about a valid accident looking to take a statement - I declined as they did not know my real name or address. Seemed very dodgy and was given advice that I did not have to give a statement to anyone but the Police.
Called a 99 year lady for a second time in 4 days stating it was a government call thankfully the lady had her wits about her and intercommed me (scheme manager) to come and take over the call. When I mentioned who I was the caller immediately hung up

I have been asked to call this number by an Asian man who claims to be from the London police, he claims that I have not responded to a summons regarding an alleged act of fraud. The number is alleged to be a Mr.Jake Coles who is a representative of solicitors, who can give me details of the alleged fraud case. I suspect this to be some sort of scam as I have never commited any fraud, in any case I believe that the local police would be involved if there were some sort of ligitamate problem.

I was called from this number and the caller was very insistent / pushy about the fact that I MUST be owed PPI compensation otherwise they would not be calling. They required bank / credit card details and when I said I had already received compensation from my bank, the call was terminated by them without explanation.

Fraud Claimed to be calling from BT OpenReach Wanted me to do a speed test Then tried to get me to go to an unknown page which my Malware guard immediately flagged so I stopped doing what they said and just pretended. Caller with thick indian accent claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse. Could also hear colleagues speaking in the background so possibly a scam call centre as well.
This was from a company asking you about resent accidenrs. When i asked them to remove my name they were rude and hung up.
