The exact number was 01340 831714. After searching it here, I called the number back. It has a BT call screener on it. A Scottish sounding older lady picked up the phone. I told her my name and said I'd had a missed call from her number at 7:47am this morning (3-3-23). Her reply? "No, not me, no you haven't" and then she put the phone down. SCAM Robot Dialer, with recorded piffle about being from "VISA" and trying to confirm a £300 payment to Amazon and an International Money Transfer of £1000. eventually got an Indian speaker who was qute surprised when i asked her for the Passcode. Then hung up. Tried to report to Action Fraud, but they are only interested if you have lost money, and it is by Email or to a Mobile Number.

Randomly messaged me on Whatsapp, entirely in Chinese. Says he messaged me by mistake. Claimed to be a 39 year old man named Nick who works in import and travels between the UK, US and Hongkong. Not sure why he continued the conversation but I told him there's no reason to strike up a conversation with a mistaken number.

Called claiming to be calling about my phone contract, told them that I wasn't on a contract (I am) then they were like oh yes, we are offering you contract for £9 a month for unlimited everything okii?! Barely spoke English and spoke very quickly, kept going silent. I said no and hung up.
