SCAM / SPAM Had my name. Called me claiming to be from EuroMillions wanting me to sign up to a monthly Lottery draw with a guaranteed refund if I didn't win. Did not sign up.
Call center - apparently market research. Did not leave a message.
Just annoying attempt togain control of home computer as previous poster detailed. Purported microsoft engineer calls to victims home with all information of target (address tele#) saying hacker trying to acccess your PC and then directs individual to website for downloading software whose purpose is to allow caller remote control of home PC. Oh the irony!
Answered the call, but silence. I hung up.

I received a call from this number today (14.04.23) - did not pick up phone but they left a message, that there have been "unusual activites/transcation" on my card (not mentioned which one). They asked to press #1 to cancle these transactions or #2 to speak to a member of their support team. COMPLETE SCAM!

Automated call - recorded message saying was from HMRC and to confirm it's me by pressing 1 otherwise a warrant would be issued and I'd be arrested soon. Ignored as HMRC wouldn't disclose any personal info without first confirming data protection and they wouldn't call on a mobile number either.

It is a claim call. You call back the automated service says "claim tea, we will call you back." Nope, i blocked the number.

0845 2863353 is on the phone to me every day. They are annoying and the calls are unwanted and they come at all times: morning afternoon and evening. Very often they ring at breakfast, mid-morning, lunchtime, teatime and dinner time. Co-incidence?

SCAM Presented themselves as an online competition for a DELL laptop through The Warehouse New Zealand. They asked for an entry fee to get our bank card number, took the entry fee then 3 days later took more money. The bank transaction shows as Highgames.Online and the number +44753717396 4691792... which the first part I thought might be a UK phone number, hence my post here. Safe number Is actually an Indian guy calling who refers you to O2 who sign you up for their Sim Only deal. Shame they have a dodgy-sounding Indian guy getting them customers, because it makes O2 look dodgy. FYI: I have received all genuine emails and contract info from O2 and... I received my SIM! 100% legit (apart from the guy calling millions of numbers from India hoping to get someone to say yes so he can earn his referral commission from O2!).
